17.9pc growth of remittance inflow till Sept 20

DHAKA, Sept 21, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 17.9 percent reaching $1.903 billion in the first 20 days of September, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1.614 billion.

During the July to September 20, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $6.803 billion, which was $5.752 billion during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
