9.6pc growth of remittance inflow till Oct 15

DHAKA, Oct 16, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year 
growth of 9.6 percent reaching US$1435 million in the first 15 days of 
October, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1310 
million.
 
During the July to October 15, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates 
sent remittances of $9,021 million, which was $7,853 million during the same 
period of the previous fiscal year.
