7.3pc growth of remittance inflow till Oct 22

DHAKA, Oct 23, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 7.3 percent reaching US$1,921 million in the 22 days of October, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,791 million.
 
During the July to October 22, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $9,507 million, which was $8,334 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
