10.2pc growth of remittance inflow till Oct 29

DHAKA, Oct 30, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 10.2 percent reaching US$2,432 million in the first 29 days of October, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.

Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $2,208 million.

During the July to October 29, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $10,018 million, which was $8,750 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
