National Policy Competition winners exchange greetings with Chief Adviser

DHAKA, Oct 30, 2025 (BSS) - Winners of the National Policy Competition 2025, hosted by the Youth and Sports Ministry, from nine universities and one college across the country today exchanged greetings with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

The students interacted with the Chief Adviser at an event at the State Guest House Jamuna here this evening, where they shared their experiences from the competition and presented their policy proposals, said a press release of the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports organised the competition to encourage analytical thinking, policy innovation, and constructive dialogue of the young generation. 

The competition was successfully completed at nine universities and one medical college nationwide, with one winning team selected from each institution.

The winners were from East West University, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), Chittagong University, Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka University, North South University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Rajshahi University, and Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.

The students presented practical and innovative policy proposals on ten national priority sectors -- education, health, environment, peace, agriculture, technology, politics, constitution, foreign policy and economy.

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain and Chief Adviser's Special Envoy Lutfey Siddiqi were present at the event, among others.
