DHAKA, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 13.9 percent reaching US$1,826 million in the sixteen days of December, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $1,602 million.
 
During the July to Dec 16, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $14,864 million, which was $12,740 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
