CHATTOGRAM,, Jan 21, 2026 (BSS)- Additional Divisional Commissioner (Gen) of Chattogram Motaher Hossain has been appointed as the new administrator of The Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a press release of the chamber today said.
 
Motaher Hossain's will replace Administrator Mohammad Nurullah Noori until the completion of the ongoing Chattogram Chamber election process.
 
 
On September 2, 2024, 24 members, including the president, senior vice president, vice president, and director, resigned from the board of directors of the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

With government approval under Section 17 of the Trade Organizations Act-2022, Additional Divisional Commissioner (Gen) Muhammad Anwar Pasha assumed the role of administrator of the Chattogram Chamber. 

On September 8, Additional Commissioner (Gen) of Chattogram Mohammad Nurullah Noori was given the charge.
