DCCI expresses condolence on demise of Mahbubur Rahman

DHAKA, April 17, 2026 (BSS) - President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Taskeen Ahmed, along with the members of the Board of Directors, has expressed deep and heartfelt condolences on the sudden demise of Commerce Secretary Mahbubur Rahman.

Mahbubur Rahman passed away today at the age of 58 while undergoing treatment at Square hospital in the capital.

In a condolence message, DCCI mentioned that throughout his remarkable career, particularly as the Commerce Secretary, he worked relentlessly with great expertise to expand trade and investment in the country as well private sector development.

The DCCI family respectfully remembers and honors his valuable contribution to the private sector led economic development.
