RpMP Commissioner urges policemen to perform duties with professionalism

RANGPUR, Jan 5, 2025 (BSS) - Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Commissioner
Md Majid Ali today urged every police member to be highly responsible in
performing their duties with utmost professionalism.

He made the call while presiding over the Monthly Crime Review Meeting for
the month of December-2024 held at his conference room in the city.
 
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC-CTSB) of RpMP Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy
Commissioner of Police (Crime) Mohammad Shibli Kaiser, Additional Deputy
Commissioners of Police, Assistant Commissioners of Police, Officers-in-
Charge (OC) of all six police stations of RpMP and other police officers
attended the meeting.
 
Later, the monthly activities and performance of all six police stations of
RpMP were presented in the meeting.
 
The RpMP Commissioner discussed the performance in detail with all those
present and emphasized the importance of the in-charges of each police
station to be aware of the matter and settle more cases, issue warrants and
recover drugs.
 
Besides, the RpMP Chief presented a certificate of appreciation to RpMP's
Sergeant Md Bayezid Bostami of the Traffic South Division for his commendable
role in filing the highest number of prosecutions and performing important
duties in traffic management in the month of December-2024.
 
In addition, he presented a certificate of appreciation to Sub-inspector (SI)
Md Mostafizur Rahman of RpMP's Kotwali Police Station for playing an
important role in uncovering information about theft cases and recovering
stolen autos through the use of information technology.
