Over 200 thalassemia patients get free blood in Bagerhat

BAGERHAT, Jan 16, 2025 (BSS) - More than two hundred thalassemia patients in the district have been given free blood.

Global Youth Harmony Initiative and District Policy Forum organised the blood donation program at the Bagerhat Zila Parishad Auditorium on Wednesday as 200 donors from 41 blood donor organizations participated.

A team from the Bagerhat 250-bed district hospital supported it. 

The thalassemia patients were later distributed blankets.
