3 motorcyclists killed in Bandarban road accident

BANDARBAN, Jan 18, 2025 (BSS) - Three motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Alikadam upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased were Belal, 30, son of Mashuk Ahmed, Minhaj, 18, son of Mintu Syed Akbar and Sayed Amin, 42, residents of different areas of the upazila.

The incident took place in Tarabunia area of the upazila when a motorcycle collided head-on with a truck, leaving three bike riders dead on the spot, said Mirza Zahir Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Alikadam Police Station.

Being informed, police recovered the bodies and sent them to the upazila health complex, said Bandarban Superintendent of Police Md. Shahidullah Kawsar.
