Construction of modern information complex begins in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, March 20, 2025 (BSS) - The construction of a modern information complex has officially begun in the Kasiadanga area of the city this morning.

The project, which is set to cost approximately Tk 16.70 crore, will feature a seven-storey building on 33 decimal of land. 

The complex will include office spaces for the district and regional information offices, as well as additional facilities such as a Cineplex, a digital lab, a digital archive, a media hub with audio and video support (including an editing panel), a conference hall, and a training hall.

Rashedul Islam, the Executive Engineer of the Department of Public Works, said that the construction is expected to be completed by March, 2026.
