SHERPUR, March 20, 2025 (BSS) – Agriculture department today distributed
Aus paddy seeds and fertilizers among 3,000 small and marginal farmers of Sadar
upazila to increase the paddy production in the Kharip-1 season.

Deputy Commissioner Tarafdar Mahmudur Rahman distributed the agri-inputs
among the farmers as the chief guest at a function held at the upazila parishad
premises this afternoon.

Presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud
Bhuiyan, it was addressed, among others, by Deputy Director of Department of
Agricultural Extension Mohammad Sakhawat Hossain, Upazila Agriculture
Officer Muslima Khanam Nilu and Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Md.
Anwar Hossain.

Each of the farmers got 5 kg of seeds, 10 kg of DAP and 10 kg of MOP chemical
fertilizers.
