NATORE, April 7, 2025 (BSS) - A preparation meeting was held in the district 
to celebrate the Bangla New Year-1432 at the conference room of the Deputy 
Commissioner (DC) this morning.

Deputy Commissioner Asma Shaheen presided over the meeting. 

As per the decision of the meeting, the procession will start from the 
premises of the District Freedom Fighters Complex Building at 7:30 am on 
Pahela Baishakh and it will end at the opening ceremony venue at the Mukta 
Mancha of Rani Bhabani Rajbari.

Besides, artists from local cultural institutions including Bangladesh Shishu 
Academy, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy will perform recitation, dance and 
music. 

A two-day rural fair will be organised at the Rani Bhabani Rajbari premises. 
Rural games such as stick play and Kabaddi will be organised at the fair while 
entrepreneurs will display their products at the fair premises. 

Bangladesh Shishu Academy will organise a drawing competition at the fair 
premises and the Government Public Library will organise an essay and drawing 
competition for children on April 12 in its own auditorium to mark the 
festival.
