RMP recovers 59 more stolen mobile phones

RAJSHAHI, April 7, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), in 
support of its cyber crime unit, recovered 59 more stolen mobile phones from 
different areas of the metropolis.
 
RMP authorities handed over the recovered phones to the respective owners at 
its headquarters conference hall today. 
 
Addressing the event, RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufiyan said they are 
working relentlessly for the welfare of the citizens. 
 
"Our cyber crime unit has attained success together with attaining trusts of 
general people combating cyber crimes in the metropolis," he added. 
 
RMP Additional Commissioner Nazmul Hassan and its Deputy Commissioner 
Saifuddin Shahin, among others, were present at the programme.

Earlier on March 1 last, the RMP authorities handed over 103 recovered mobile 
phones to their respective owners.
