CHATTOGRAM, April 8, 2025 (BSS) - A bank official died falling off the rooftop of a three-storey building at Shilpa Para under Kanchannagar union in Fatikchhari upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased identified as Mohammad Abul Hashem, 57, was the manager of Grameen Bank in Kanchannagar Branch and son of late Abul Gafur, a resident of Indrar Char area under ??Debidwar upazila in Cumilla district.

Hashem accidently fell from the rooftop of his rented house and died on the spot, said Nur Ahmed, Officer-in-Charge of Fatikchhari police station.
