RAJBARI, April 20, 2025 (BSS) - A meeting of the District Development Coordination Committee was held today at the auditorium of the Rajbari District Administration.

Deputy Commissioner Sultana Akhter presided over the meeting, while Civil Surgeon Dr. SM Masud, Additional Deputy Commissioner Imrul Hasan, Additional Superintendent of Police Abu Russel, Executive Engineer of the Roads Division Md Rajash Khan, and LGED Engineer Md Yusuf Hossain, among others, were present.

The meeting focused on various development issues of the district, including infrastructure problems, road communication, electricity, river management, water development, agriculture, irrigation, market systems, fertilizer and seed supply, and the promotion of local onion production.

Discussions also covered social services, women's development, vocational training for women, and their technical advancement.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the issues and sought cooperation from the concerned departments to address the challenges effectively.
