Looted 326 bullets recovered in Munshiganj

MUNSHIGANJ, April 20, 2025 (BSS)- Police have recovered 326 rounds of  abandoned Chinese rifle bullets from a pond in Tongibari upazila of the district.

Based on a tip-off, DB Police conducted a search operation in a pond adjacent to the residence of Al-Faz Uddin at Paikpara village under Tongibari upazila on Saturday night.
 
During the search, police recovered 326 rounds of 7.62 Chinese rifle bullets from a tin box inside a plastic sack tied with a tree branches.

Additional SP of Munshiganj district Firoz Kabir said, miscreants looted those bullets from Tongibari thana on August 5 last year.
