One killed in Tongi road accident

GAZIPUR, April 21, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed in a road accident in the Panir Tanki area along the Tongi-Kamarpara road of the district.

The deceased was Alamgir, 52, a resident of Nazirpur upazila of Pirojpur district.

The accident occurred when a sand-laden truck and a timber-laden truck collided head on, leaving sand-laden truck helper dead on the spot.

Police arrested the truck driver and seized the truck.
