18 banned fishing nets seized, destroyed in Kawnia

RANGPUR, April 21, 2025 (BSS) – In a drive conducted by the Upazila Fisheries Office, 18 banned fishing nets were seized and burned in public in Kawnia upazila here today.
 
Kawnia Upazila Fisheries Officer Farzana Akhter led the drive carried out at Panjarbhanga and Nijpara areas on the banks of Teesta River in the district.
