MAGURA, May 1, 2025 (BSS) - A school student was killed today in a road accident at Bethuri village of Palashbari union under Mohammadpur upazila of the district.

The deceased was Abid, 11, a fourth-grade student and son of Obaidur Molla of Khardafulbari village of the upazila.

The accident took place at noon, when a truck hit a bicycle from behind, leaving its rider Abid injured critically, said Abdur Rahman, Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Mohammadpur Police Station.

Abid, later, was taken to Mohammadpur Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
