Foundation stone laid for Buddhist temple in Rangamati

RANGAMATI, May 2, 2025 (BSS) - Chairman of the Rangamati Hill District Council Krishibid Kajal Talukder today laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Buddhist temple at Gnanodaya Buddhist Vihara of Banayogichhara Union under the Jurachari Upazila in the district. 

A religious function was also held marking the event. 

Members of Rangamati Hill District Council Barun Bikas Dewan, Pratul Chandra Dewan, Captain Md Mosharraf Hossain Sagar, Banyogichhara Union Chairman Santosh Bikas Chakma, former Upazila Chairman Suresh Kumar Chakma and local leaders were present on the occasion.
