2 held with Phensedyl in Narsingdi

Narsingdi, 03 May, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 in a drive arrested two drug dealers along with 197 bottles of Phensedyl along with two mobile phones and a private car from Kharnamdi Mor area under Madhabdi Police Station of Sadar Upazila of district last night (Friday).

Sadman Ibne Alam, CPSC Camp Commander of RAB-11, Narsingdi confirmed the matter, a press release said today.

The arrested detainees are Hridoy Mia (23), son of Sohrab Hossain of Kauriapara in Narsingdi Municipality, and Robin Khan (35), son of Firoz Khan of Brahmanpara area.

Acting on a tip-off, RAB-11 conducted a drive in the Kharnamdi area at around 10 pm on Friday. During the raid, two mobile phones, 197 bottles of Phensedyl were recovered from a private car. The vehicle was also seized. The drugs were being transported in a hidden compartment in the back of the car, hiding drugs inside fruits in a deceiving manner, Sadman Ibne Alam said.
 
The elite forces have handed over the apprehended to the respective police stations with the seized drugs to the local police for further legal action.
