JHENAIDAH, May 4, 2025 (BSS) - A three-year old boy died after being run over 
by a battery-run van at Stationpara of Kotchandpur municipality of the 
district today.

The deceased was Al Farabi Sujan, 3, son of Sheikh Shamim Hossain, a resident 
of the same area.

Eyewitnesses and police said the boy got into a vegetable-laden standing van 
while playing and inadvertently started it. At one stage, the battery-run van 
started moving and the boy fell on the road and was run over by it.

Critically injured boy was taken to Kotchandpur Upazila Health Complex where 
the on-duty doctor declared him dead, police added.
