JHENAIDAH, May 22, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was killed when a truck hit his 
motorcycle in Baradah area under Shailkupa upazila of the district this noon.

The deceased was Jisan, 17, an SSC examinee from Garaganj Secondary School 
and son of Mannan Hossain of the area.

The accident took place around 12 noon on the Jhenaidah-Kushtia highway when 
a truck hit Jisan's motorbike from opposite direction, leaving him dead on 
the spot, Mrityunjoy Biswas, officer-in-charge (OC) of Arappur Highway Police 
Station.

Jisan was returning home riding the motorcycle after submitting his practical 
examination book at Garaganj Secondary School, he added.
