Man hacked to death in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, May 22, 2025 (BSS) - A man has been hacked to death, allegedly by his younger brother and his wife, in the Chandgaon residential area of the port city.

The deceased Md. Shahed is the son of the late Jalal Ahmed of Haji Mir Hossain Sawdagar's house in Noapara village in Raozan upazila of the district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chandgaon police station Aftab Uddin told that Zahed and his wife Ohi might kill Shahed at some time on Wednesday night over a family feud.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the deceased's younger brother Md. Zahed, 27, and his wife Tasmin Binte Aslam Ohi, 26, for their alleged involvement with murder while they were fleeing with the body in an ambulance.
