Woman electrocuted in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - A woman was electrocuted this morning at the Nagua-Bagadia-Taltala area under Sadar upazila of the district. 

The deceased was identified as Mst. Rubina, 32, wife of Md Monir of the same area. 

According to locals, Rubina received an electric shock from an electric heater when she went to the kitchen for cooking and fell unconscious. 

She was rushed to Kishoreganj Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College and Hospital, where the on-duty doctor pronounced her dead. 

Abdullah Al Mamun, Officer-in-Charge of Kishoreganj Sadar Model Police Station, said the body was sent to the hospital morgue.
