LALMONIRHAT, July 20, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and his wife and children were injured when a truck hit their motorcycle in Namuri Bazar area under Aditmari upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Debabrata Roy alias Dasu Roy, 48, son of Khitish Chandra Barman of Radhaballab Harati village in Rangpur Sadar upazila. He died on the spot.

His wife Misti Rani, 30, and son Mithal Chandra, 6, were taken to a hospital.

Officer-in-Charge of Aditmari Police Station Ali Akbar confirmed the matter.
