Online GD services launched in all police stations of Satkhira

SATKHIRA, July 21, 2025 (BSS) - The online General Diary (GD) programme was launched today in all police stations of the district to bring the services of Bangladesh Police to the doorsteps of the people.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Mohammad Monirul Islam formally inaugurated the programme at Sadar Police Station at 12:01 am.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) Md Mukit Hasan Khan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md Shahinur Chowdhury, and Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station Md Shaminul Haque, among others, were present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, SP Mohammad Monirul Islam said the Bangladesh Police has introduced the facility of filing GDs online from home to ensure that people can access police services more conveniently and efficiently.
