NETRAKONA, July 21, 2025 (BSS) - A three-year-old boy drowned in the Ubdakhali river in Ghoshpara area under Kolmakanda upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was Ali Asad, son of Billal Hossain of the same area.

Asad was playing beside the river and suddenly fell into the river and drowned. Local rescued the boy and taken to the upazila health complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. 

Officer-in-Charge of Kolmakanda Police Station Mohammad Lutfur Rahman confirmed the matter.
