FENI, Sept 9, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed in a road accident at Tulatuli area under Daganbhuiyan upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Shamsuzzaman Khan, 32, son of Abdur Rafiq Khan of Kalapara area under Purbatala Police Station in Netrokona district. He was serving as the manager of a non-governmental organization (NGO) 'Disha' at its Begumganj branch in Noakhali.

The accident took place around 8 am when an unidentified vehicle ran over him, leaving him dead on the spot, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mahipal Highway Police Station Md Harun-Or-Rashid.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Feni General Hospital morgue.
