SATKHIRA, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and two others were injured in a road accident at Mathurapur bypass intersection in Sadar upazila last night.

The deceased was Selim Hossain, 35, a resident of Jashore Municipality.

The accident took place around 8.30 pm when two motorcycles collided head-on, leaving three riders of both vehicles injured, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Police Station Saminul Haque.

The injured were taken to Sadar hospital where Selim succumbed to his injuries.
