CHATTOGRAM, Sept 10, 2025 (BSS) - The main absconding accused in a wife murder case under Char Jabbar Police Station in Noakhali district was detained by RAB-7 in the Agrabad area of the city last night.

The detainee was identified as Md Yusuf, 35, son of Abul Hossain of Char Jabbar Police Station in Noakhali district.

RAB sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-7 and RAB-11 conducted a drive in Billapara under Double Mooring thana and detained Yusuf around 7 pm.

Later, he was handed over to Double Mooring Police Station for taking necessary legal action.
