CHATTOGRAM (North), Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - A madrasah teacher died from electrocution at Barabil village under Harualchhari union of Fatikchhari upazila in the district today.
The deceased was identified as Hafez Maulana Mohammad Sana Ullah, 28, son of Maulana Mohammad Nurul Islam of the same area.
According to local sources, Sana Ullah came in contact with a live wire connected to an electric motor in the yard of his residence around 10:30 am.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhujpur Police Station Mahbubul Haque confirmed the incident.
