RAJBARI, Sept 11, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 30 sewing machines and financial 
assistance have been provided to educated, distressed and helpless women in 
the district under the initiative of the District Women's Affairs Department. 

District Additional Deputy Commissioner Sankar Chandra Vaidya handed over the 
assistance among the beneficiaries as the chief guest at a function held at 
the conference room of Deputy Commissioner today.

District Women's Affairs Officer Ajmiri Hossain presided over the function.

Program Officer of the department Tahmida Khanam spoke on the occasion.
