Former Manirampur BNP leader Mohammad Musa passes away

JASHORE, Oct 4, 2025 (BSS) – Former Manirampur Upazila BNP unit president and former upazila chairman Mohammad Musa passed away early Friday at a private hospital in Jashore. 
He was 78, family and party sources said. 

His first Namaz-e-Janaza was held today at 2:00pm at Manirampur Alia Madrasa ground. 

The second janaza will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at 11:00am in his village home at Atghora under Chaluhati union.

Musa joined BNP in 1978 and served as general secretary and later president of Manirampur BNP unit. He was also elected upazila chairman and union parishad chairman for several times.

Senior BNP leaders including Prof Nargis Islam and Anindya Islam Amit expressed deep sorrow and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
