Cattle trader killed in Bogura road accident

BOGURA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - A cattle trader was killed in a road accident in  Shitlai area under Kahalu upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Aminul Sheikh, 40, son of Riaz Sheikh of Joytul village of  the upazila.

The accident took place on Kahalu-Bogura road when a cattle-laden vehicle  turned turtle as its driver lost control of its steering, said Nitai Chandra  Sarkar, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kahalu Police Station. He died on the spot, he said.

Police recovered the body and sent it to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College  Hospital morgue, the OC added.
