KHULNA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - Former Member of Parliament (MP) and ex-
President of Khulna City BNP Nazrul Islam Manju staged a massive showdown in
Khulna-2 constituency on Sunday with senior and deprived party leaders,
marking his return in politics after a long time.

The event began around 11 am with the distribution of leaflets outlining
BNP's 31-point reform proposals for national reconstruction.

Former mayor and BNP leader Bir Muktijoddha Moniruzzaman Moni, along with
other senior and grassroots leaders, joined the programme.

Speaking at Golokmoni Park, Manju said, "Following the directives of our
Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, we must deliver the 31-point reform message
to the people to rebuild the state and restore the voting rights of the
countrymen."

Tarique Rahman's 31-point are not merely a political manifesto but a
blueprint for the liberation of the people of Bangladesh, aimed at ensuring
justice, good governance and true democracy, he added.

After the inauguration, BNP leaders led by Manju distributed leaflets from
Golokmoni Park through several major city points including Picture Palace,
Dakbangla, and Ferryghat.

Hundreds of supporters lined the streets, greeting Manju with raised hands.

Among others, BNP leaders Sheikh Mosharraf Hossain, Zafarullah Khan Satchu,
Advocate Fazle Halim Liton, Professor Arifuzzaman Apu, Mahbub Kaiser and many
more from various city units and affiliated organisations were present.
