DHAKA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - A meeting of the central executive committee of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami was held today.

Members of the central executive body attended the meeting, with Nayeb-e-Ameer Professor Mujibur Rahman in the chair, said a press release here.

The committee called on the interim government to give a legal ground to the July National Charter 2025 so that it can be implemented.

To ensure a free, fair, and transparent national election, the Committee also urged the government and the Election Commission to install CCTV cameras at every polling center.

Jamaat leaders said this step would help prevent vote fraud, enable public monitoring of the election process and restore voter's confidence.
