Navy, Police take joint lead

DHAKA, Dec 5, 2025 (BSS)-Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Police took joint 
lead in the points table with maximum six points after 3rd round games of the 
Premier Division Chess League held at the chess federation's hall room today 
(Friday).

Reigning champion Titas Club in two matches and Uttara Central Chess Club in 
three matches earned four points each and jointly placed in the second 
position. 

In the day's third round games, Titas Club defeated Dipali Memorial Chess 
Club by 4-1 game points, Bangladesh Navy defeated Uttara Central Chess Club 
by 3-1 game points, Bangladesh Police Chess Club defeated Janata Bank 
Officers' Welfare Society by 3-1 game points, Manha's Castle drew with 
Leonine Chess Club by 2-2 game points and Sports Bangla defeated Khelaghor 
Daba Sangah by 2.5-1.5 game points.
