DHAKA, Oct 19, 2025 (BSS) - The blood-stained body of Jagannath University (JnU) student and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader was recovered from a staircase of a house at 15 Noor Box Lane in the capital's Bangshal area this evening.
The deceased was identified as Md Zobaed Hossain, a Statistics student of the university's 2019-20 sessions and convening committee member of the JCD chapter.
Suspecting that he was stabbed to death, Bangshal Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam said, "He used to come to the house for tuition."
"We're investigating the incident," OC added.
