MADARIPUR, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS) - The Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) today distributed chemical fertilizers and seeds among 4,000 small and marginal farmers of Kalkini upazila in the district.

Deputy Director of DAE Dr Rahima Khatun distributed the incentives as the chief guest at a function held at the Upazila Parishad hall room this morning.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Saiful Arefin presided over the function, while Upazila Agriculture Officer Sudip Biswas, Agriculture Extension Officer Md Raihan Kabir and Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Md Farid Hossain were present, among others.
