FENI, Oct 29, 2025 (BSS) - On the occasion of 47th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Jatiyotabadi Jubo Dal, 500 poor and working people have been provided daily necessities for a token fee of Taka 1 in the district.

On behalf of the District Jubo Dal, bags filled with daily necessities were provided to the working men and women at a function held adjacent to the July Memorial Monument on the Trunk Road in the district town this afternoon.

Each bag contains three-kg of rice, one-kg of pulses, two-kg of potatoes, one-kg of onion, one packet of soybean oil and one packet of biscuits.

Besides, everyone was provided with one free meal also.

District Jubo Dal Convener Nasir Uddin Khandaker, its member secretary Naeem Ullah Chowdhury Barat, joint conveners Belal Hossain and Amjad Hossain Sumon conducted the programme.

District, upazila and municipality level leaders and activists were present in the programme.

Nasir Uddin Khandaker said, "The party's central command has ordered 47,000 workers in the district to do one good deed each. This initiative has been taken by Jubo Dal as part of a good deed. In this way, Jubo Dal will stand by the people. The youth wing of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will do whatever is necessary to stand by the common people."

Naeem Ullah Chowdhury Barat said, "BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has asked us to do humanitarian work. Jubo Dal will work for the people by getting out of traditional politics. We want to be in the love of the people. Therefore, we renovated Khaleda Zia Road in Fulgazi yesterday with our own funds and volunteer work.

In the light of limited capacity, food was distributed among the working people for Taka 1 at the initiative of the district Jubo Dal.
