BARGUNA, Oct 29, 2025 (BSS) - A minor boy died from electrocution in Barovaijpra area under Taltoli upazila of the district this morning.
    
The deceased was Imran, 8, son of Sohel Fakir of the same village and a class two student of Harinbaria Government Primary School.

Imran went to cut grass for goats in the area with his mother around 6 am and he died after being electrocuted by an electric trap used to kill rats in a paddy field.

Imran died on the spot.

Taltoli Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Shahjalal confirmed the matter and said legal action will be taken if a complaint is received in this incident.
