
KHULNA, Oct 31, 2025 (BSS) - Leaders of Khulna City BNP unit have urged all to remain alert against those who are trying to disrupt the upcoming national electoral process.
They made the remarks on Thursday(yesterday) evening at the party office during a joint meeting of the city BNP and its associate bodies, organised to mark the observance of the historic November 7 Revolution and National Solidarity Day.
The speakers said that there is no alternative to national unity in restoring the country's democracy. The party's proposed 31-point reform agenda offers a clear roadmap for overcoming the national crisis, they added.
"Each leader and activist must present these points to the people. The 31-point proposal is not merely a political reform plan but also a declaration of justice, equality, and people's rights," they noted.
The meeting also discussed the current political situation, the ongoing democratic movement, and preparations for the forthcoming national elections.
Khulna city BNP President Advocate Shafiqul Alam Mona presided over the meeting while its general secretary Shafiqul Alam Tuhin, organising secretary Sheikh Sadi, Masud Parvez Babu, Hasanur Rashid Chowdhury Miraj, KM Humayun Kabir, Sheikh Hafizur Rahman Moni, Murshid Kamal, SM Abdur Rahman, Abul Kalam Zia, Jamal Uddin Talukdar, Abu Sayeed Howlader Abbas, Md. Habibur Rahman Biswas, Sheikh Imam Hossain, Asaduzzaman Asad, Jubo Dal leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz Sumon, Mohila Dal leader Syeda Nargis Ali, JASAS leader Engineer Nur Islam Bacchu, Krishak Dal leader Akhtaruzzaman Talukdar Sajib, Muntasir Al Mamun, Tati Dal leader Abu Sayeed Sheikh, and Olama Dal leader Maulana Md. Abu Naim Kazi, among others, addressed the session.
The meeting adopted different programmes to observe the November 7 Revolution and National Solidarity Day.
