RANGPUR, Nov 8, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested two suspected drug peddler brothers with 188 bottles of phensedyl from the Pillar Bazaar area under Sadar police station on Friday night. 

On a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13 from its Nilphamari Camp searched an auto-rickshaw at the Pillar Bazaar area, recovered the contraband phensedyl and arrested the two men from the spot at 10:30 pm," said a press release.

The detainees were identified as Md Mansur Ali, 38, son of late Oliar Rahman of village Dakshin Ketkibari (Shantinagar) and Fazlul Haque, 65, son of late Nurul Haque of village Uttar Gomnati (Mazhyali) under Domar upazila of Nilphamari district.

After filing a case, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and the recovered phensedyl to Sadar police station of Nilphamari district for further legal action.
