NATORE, Nov 28, 2025 (BSS) - A doa mahfil was held at the NDTI mosque here after the Jumma prayers today seeking the early recovery of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Former deputy minister and BNP-nominated candidate from Natore-2 constituency Advocate M Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu was present as the chief guest at the doa mahfil.

Dulu said Begum Khaleda Zia is a symbol of the unity of the country and she is a symbol of restoring democracy and protecting the country's independence and sovereignty too. 

"There is no alternative to her for taking the country forward by facing this crisis. We believe that Almighty Allah will accept our prayers and she will recover from her illness," he said.

Natore district BNP convener Rahim Newaz and former mayor of Natore Municipality Sheikh Emdadul Haque Al Mamun joined the doa mahfil, among others.
