NAOGAON, Nov 29, 2025 (BSS) - A special prayer was held in the district today for the speedy recovery of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. 

BNP's central agricultural affairs secretary, former lawmaker and BNP-nominated candidate Shamsujoha Khan arranged the prayer at Najipur upazila BNP party office around 11 am. 

The prayers were led by Maulana Omar Faruk.

District Mohila Dal acting president Samina Parvin Poli, upazila BNP president Mokshedul Haque Siri, general secretary Abdullah Al Faruk, organizing secretaries Nazrul Islam and Ramjan Ali Sardar, upazila BNP vice president Sadequl Bari, joint general secretary Ashraful Islam Richard, Municipal BNP president Mamun Hossain, Patnitala Thana Jubo Dal convener Rafiqul Islam Saheb, Municipal Jubo Dal convener Abdul Kader, Upazila Mohila Dal president and former vice chairman Mariam Begum Sefa, along with thousands of leaders and activists, were present at the event.
