PATUAKHALI, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS) - A youth was killed in a road accident at Ward No-3 of Muradia union under Dumki upazila of the district on Wednesday evening.

The deceased was identified as Siam, 20, son of Abu Yusuf Hawlader of Kuripika village in Patuakhali Sadar upazila.

The accident occurred when a trolley collided head-on with an auto rickshaw and the auto rickshaw fell into a roadside pond, leaving its passenger Siam injured critically.

Injured Siam was taken to Dumki Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
