RANGPUR, Feb 1, 2026 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 recovered a locally made one-shooter gun and three rounds of live ammunition from Saraswatipur village under Kotwali Police Station in Dinajpur district today.

Acting on a tip-off, a team from Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-1 of RAB-13, based at Dinajpur Camp, conducted a raid and recovered the illegal firearm and ammunition from the house of Md Masud Rana, 30, a resident of the village, at around 7:45am, according to a press release.

The recovered weapon and ammunition were handed over to Kotwali Police Station in Dinajpur for further legal action, the release added.
